Lewis R. Gordon (UCONN-Storr)

June 27, 2017, 16h00

Room 1, CES | Alta

Abstract

In this conference Prof. Lewis Gordon will give a critical discussion of recent political thought in light of global events. He will discuss the error of focusing on neoliberalism, leaving neoconservatism and its fascist aspirations overlooked; this will be folowed by a discussion of the problems involved in a leftism locked in reductive models of social justice and anti-statist romanticism with hopes of anarchy.
