Fernando Cavalcante


Fernando Cavalcante holds a PhD in International Relations - International Politics and Conflict Resolution from the University of Coimbra. He is currently working at the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations. Previously, he held positions at the Global Governance Institute (Belgium), University of Bradford's Department of Peace Studies (United Kingdom), Permanent Mission of Brazil to the United Nations (USA), Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and at the University of Coimbra's Faculty of Economy. He has fieldwork experience conducting participant observation, interviews, documental and archival research.
