Ricardo Amorim


Biography

Brazilian economist graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP), Master in Economic Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and PhD in Economic Development from the same institution. He was a researcher at the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA), director for productive inclusion at the Ministry of Social Development (MDS) and specialist in economic analysis of the Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ADBI), a body linked to the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC). In his teaching, he served as professor-researcher at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (SP) and professor of Macroeconomics at Faculdades de Campinas (FACAMP) and Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-SP). Has published studies about Brazilian Economy and also Development Theory.
