The book, organized by Hermes Augusto Costa and Pedro Araújo, analyzes the impact of EBCs in Portugal, emphasizing the vision of Portuguese representatives and their learning process in these instances. The authors privilege several angles: the quantitative dimension of EBCs, expression of application of the Directive; the formal constitution and functioning of EBCs, defined in the agreement negotiation process, through which they are instituted and observed in action; the efficiency of EBCs, related with the fulfillment of the aims pursued by the Directive; and the practical possibilities of EBCs, that remit towards the consecution of concrete objectives.
The release will take place Wednesday, April 22nd, 18h00, at Livraria Almedina, Cidade de Coimbra Stadium.
The book will be presented by Carlos Silva (President of the Centro Region Bank Clerks Trade Union) and will also count on the presence of Elísio Estanque and António Casimiro Ferreira, coordinators of the Series Trabalho e Sociedade and the CES-Almedina Collection. |
