NECTS Seminar Cycle 2010: Knowledges in Dialogue

The seminar cycle proposed for 2010 attempts to bring together different actors and knowledges in the discussion of relevant themes that meet the NECTS research interests, namely in which concerns issues currently in discussion in the scope of the projects carried out by the research group. The adopted format aims to facilitate the engagement in interdisciplinary dialogues at different levels:
  • At a broader level, making the necessary efforts to promote the articulation of lay and expert approaches regarding a given issue or theme;

  • At an inter-institutional relations level, making the necessary efforts to articulate different scientific perspectives developed in other research institutions;

  • At an internal NECTS/CES level, making the necessary efforts to articulate approaches developed by the different research groups, in which concerns debate-generating issues;

  • In terms of researchers mobilized by CES, in order to encourage the dialogue between senior researchers, junior researchers, PhD students, among others.
