About

Several studies have concluded that there is a link between class, race and the criminalisation process, which selectively polices and criminalises the behaviour of certain youth and young adults, disproportionately coming from peripheral neighbourhoods or urban areas of metropolitan areas (in our case, the metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto), usually seen as sensitive or problematic neighbourhoods.

This seminar aims to deepen the knowledge and share experiences about the selectivity of these processes.
