Adelino Gonçalves
Biography
Adelino Gonçalves holds a degree in Architecture from the Department of Architecture of the University of Coimbra (1994) and a PhD in Architecture (2012) from the same university, with the Thesis "Património Urban(ístic)o e Planeamento da Salvaguarda" [Urban(istic) Heritage and Conservation Planning]. He is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at the University of Coimbra, Associate Researcher at the Center for Social Studies, where he is a member of the Cities, Cultures and Architecture Research Group, and Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Integrated Urban Rehabilitation of the Department of Architecture of the University of Coimbra. He is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at the University of Coimbra and an Associate Researcher at the Center for Social Studies, where he is a member of the Cities, Cultures and Architecture (CCArq) Research Group. His research interests are urban policies and the integration of urban rehabilitation and heritage conservation in development. On these subjects he published a book and several articles and chapters in national and international editions, as well as organized and participated in meetings and seminars dedicated to the topics in question.
