Sofia Branco Sousa


Biography

Sofia Branco Sousa is a Researcher at Centre for Social Studies (CES), combining a major interest in meanings with her dual training. With a PhD in Educational Sciences and a Master in Clinical and Health Psychology, she favours a perspective grounded in social constructionism and discourse analysis. Having initially focused her work exclusively on the field of Sociology of Science and Higher Education Studies, particularly on topics such as knowledge production and the academic profession, she is currently also working in the fields of sexual health, sexual rights and sexology. In a perspective that intends to integrate practice and research.
