Alfredo Campos


Biography

Alfredo Campos is a Junior Researcher at the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra, integrating Social Policies, Labor and Inequalities team (POSTRADE). He has a degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra, specializing in Sociology of Work and Employment and a Master in "Labor Relations, Social Inequalities and Unionism", by the same institution, with the thesis "Does Qualified Work Escape Precariousness"? A Case Study of the Scientific Profession ". He is currently a doctoral researcher in the PhD Program "Human Rights in Contemporary Societies", at the Center for Social Studies and at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research at the University of Coimbra, with the Thesis Project "Work, Power and Precariousness: An approach to the dynamics of relationships of work and employment and impacts on the Right to Work ". He was integrated in several research projects as a grantee and regularly collaborates with several projects in the scope of the analysis of statistical data and quantitative methodologies. His current research interests focus on sociology of work and employment and political economy, in addition to statistical analysis methodologies.
