PhD in Sociology from the State University of Campinas (Brazil). Professor of Qualitative Research Methodologies, Department of Social Sciences, Fluminense Federal University, Campos dos Goytacazes, Brazil. Researcher interested in the subject of human mobility, such as: theoretical and methodological reflections on migration studies; Brazilian emigration; human mobility and current social changes; racism, xenophobia and migration.
