Luísa Trindade
Biography
Graduated in History of Art by the University of Coimbra (1990), where she has been approved in Educational Aptitude and Scientific Capacity Tests (2001) and obtained her PhD degree (2010). Lecturer at the Department of History, European Studies, Archaeology and Arts, Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (since 1996) and researcher at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES), since 2008. Besides lecturing the various History of Art subjects in the graduate and master's programme in History of Art (FLUC), and in the Doctoral Programme in Heritages of Portuguese Influence (III-CES), has been conducting research on history of Portuguese architecture, of which the following publications are example: «A Casa urbana em Coimbra. Dos finais da Idade Média aos inícios da Época Moderna». Coimbra: City Council, 2002 and «Urbanismo na composição de Portugal». Coimbra: Coimbra University Press, 2013.
