Presentation

The aim of this seminar, within the scope of the research project with the same name, now at its final stage, is to present and discuss the project’s results, specifically in what concerns the following aspects: the supply of small arms in Portugal; the demand for firearms, meaning the identification of arms’ owners and users and their motives; the differentiated effects of armed violence; and the responses and strategies for armed violence prevention, implemented by the State and by civil society.
