The Centre for Social Studies of University of Coimbra will organize, on July 1st, 2010, at the Auditorium of Centre for Urban Information of Lisbon, at Picoas Plaza, in Lisbon, a Colloquium dedicated to the subject “Body, Justice and Compensation”.
This Colloquium takes place under a research Project, funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, with the scientific coordination of Professor Boaventura de Sousa Santos, with the central goal of discussing and questioning the different social-legal dimensions of compensation for personal injuries in Portuguese courts, especially in relation to work and road accidents.
