WHERE TO STAY?

ACCOMMODATION: March, 1^st – March, 4^th 2017

INTIMATE aims to promote a frank and balanced debate between scholars from countries located in the North as well as in the South of the planet. In order to provide greater accessibility for everybody, organizers are working to put in place a series of measures that can support people who want to travel to Portugal for the QUEERING PARENTING conference.

Different offers have been set in order to facilitate the attendance to the conference of interested participants:

1. STUDENT RESIDENCIES

SASUC, the Social Affairs Department of the University of Coimbra, will offer accommodation in Student Residencies for the nights between March, 1^st and March, 4^th. Prices per night are 10€ for a bed in a double room, and 20€ for a single room. In case you want to stay in a Student Residency, you should contact directly SASUC by email (to: paula.cristina@sas.uc.pt; cc: gabadmin@sas.uc.pt) until February, 20^th. In order to be taken into consideration, your request needs to present the following documents:

1. The copies of passport of all the participants included in the request;
2. The registration form, completed in all its parts by each one of the participants. When filling the form in, you should give the following information: “Field of study”: Queering Parenting conference; “Host Faculty”: CES; “Coordinator UC”: Ana Cristina Santos.

Availability depends on the number of interested people. SASUC will let you know as soon as possible which residency has been chosen for you. Once you have decided to proceed booking a room in the Student Residency assigned to you, you will just need to pay by bank transfer to SASUC in order to book your room.

2. SPECIAL RATES AT BE COIMBRA HOSTELS

Located in the heart of the city centre (Praça do Comércio), BE Coimbra Hostel is our location for the closing dinner and the conference party that will take place on Friday, 3^rd March.

Considering this partnership, the offers will be the following:

- 60€= accomodation (single room): 3 nights + dinner (March, 3rd)
* Rooms with private bathroom costs 5€/person/night
- 10€ = dinner (March, 3rd): one dish (it can be vegan or vegeterian) + White Sangria
