Our objectives

• Contribute to a better understanding of Solidarity Economy and its interfaces with the state, market and organizations of civil society;

• Promote exchange of experiences and exchange of research results with partner organizations in Portugal and other countries;

• Strengthen partnership with national and international research networks on Social, Solidarity and Popular Economies;

• Invest in the dialogue with the solidarity based initiatives in Portugal, as well as in other countries of Europe, Africa and Latin America;

• Promote interaction with other fields of knowledge as well as with public policies.
