Abstract
This study intends to review, analyse and evaluate the role and benefits of CBM mechanisms within multi-facetted holistic urban development programmes in and of municipalities, which include activities of employment promotion, empowerment of marginalized groups, and infrastructure improvement amongst others.
Results
Report proving a lengthy and broad description of the selected cases and assessment of CBM approaches with respect to their scope, value-added, opportunities, constraints and potential areas of improvement.
