Women and girls in armed violence contexts: a case study of Rio de Janeiro

This projects aims at identifying and analysing the roles played by women and girls in armed violence(s) contexts, specifically in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), as well as the differentiated impacts of this type of violence in their lives and the strategies they employ to cope with them. Another purpose of this study is to influence public policies on disarmament, public security and peacebuilding.
