A special dinner and music event for conference participants will be held at the Cyklopen Kulturhuset, on Magelungsvägen 170, Bandhagen (Stockholm) on Wed, March 23, from 8:00 pm to 00:00 am.
Entrance fee: voluntary contribution (25 SEK minimum)
Dinner: 50 SEK
Beverages: 25 SEK

Field trips

The undisciplined political ecologies of Stockholm.
Walking tours organized by Högdalens Vänner (Friends of Högdalen) & Cyklopen Kulturhuset.
Fees: voluntary contribution. Maximum number of participants: 50/trip. Registrations will be taken at the conference registrations desk.

Thursday, March 24, 2-4 pm. Meeting point: Högdalens subway (T-bana, green line).

In the suburbs of Stockholm a constant struggle of deterriorialisation and reterriorialisation have been ongoing for many years. We will dive into the classical modernist suburb Högdalen where public housing is sold out to IKEA with rent spikes as a result, where a squat protesting the destruction of the neighborhood created a Peoples House of Högdalen last summer and where the self-built and self-organised social center Cyklopen is blossoming.

Field trip 2: 
Urban gardens and grassrooots practices of commoning
