Pedro Dutra | Ph.D. candidate and MA in Education from the Federal University of São Carlosexpertt in Art-Education at the University of Brasília, and a degree in Music from the University of São Paulo. Since 2001 he has been working as a music educator, working in basic education as a teacher, conductor of children's choir and student orchestra. He also worked as a music educator in the Amigos do Projeto Guri Association and the Municipal Conservatory of Alfenas. In higher education, he was a virtual tutor in the musical education course of the Federal University of São Carlos and substitute teacher in the on-site music education course at the same institution. He is currently coordinator and lecturer of the Music BA course and the Post-Grad Course in Music Education at Claretiano University Centre, where he coordinates the Music, Education, and Interdisciplinarity research group. In the scope of his research he has carried out field work in the northeast of Minas Gerais, Vale do Jequitinhonha, with the choir and popular culture group Trovadores do Vale. He is a doctoral student at the Centre for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra, under supervision of Tiago Castela.

Ana Luiza Salgado | Ph.D. student in Education at the Federal University of São Carlos, in the field of Social Practices and Educational Processes, where she studies the relationship between Popular Education and University through the Popular University Outreach. MA in Education from the Postgraduate Programme in Education of the Federal University of Viçosa (2013), where she served as a student representative and researched the experience as a formative category for students acting in University Outreach actions. Pedagogue (2011) by the Federal University of Viçosa, where she worked in several areas of  University Outreach such as the Ludoteca-UFV, the Farmer's and Rural Youth Week, and the Rondon Project. She was a substitute teacher (2013) and coordinator of the undergraduate course at the Federal Institute of Education of the South of Minas Gerais, campus of Muzambinho. She was a professor at the Faculty of Viçosa (2014), Minas Gerais, where she taught courses in Curriculum in Basic Education, Educational Assessment and Multiple Languages in Early Childhood Education. She supervised the Supervised Internships in the Pedagogy course in the modalities of Youth and Adult Education, Early Childhood Education and the initial years of Elementary Education. She was a substitute professor (2016) of the Department of Education of the Federal University of São Carlos, working in the area of educational management, sociology of education, and education and society. She is currently studying in a Ph.D. short term exchange programme  at the University of Coimbra, at the Centre for Social Studies, under supervision of Teresa Cunha, researching various themes with a focus on University and Popular Education.
