Overview

This workshop aims to raise awareness of the possibilities of using the arts in intervention in Health, considering aesthetics as part of the involvement of human beings with the world and the constitution of their experience. This experimentation of the sensitive connects the discussion of theoretical-methodological aspects with the affinities of the human subjects with the arts and how these can be aggregators of devices associated with processes of promotion of Health as well-being and as knowledge of oneself and of constitution of collectives guided towards the care and defence of the human right to health.

This workshop is held under the Health with Art Outreach Project, carried out at the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB). This project aims to stimulate the empowerment of collectives through artistic/cultural and associative practices, and is aimed at precarious and vulnerable communities. This workshop is part of a collaboration with the EuropeanACCOMPLISSH project, of which CES and the Machado de Castro National Museum are partners.

Registrations are free but mandatory, limited to 25 people.
