Overview

NECES brings together researchers interested in the study of science, economy and in their development processes within contemporary societies. Focusing on a strict collaboration between research and post-graduate training, it develops Doctoral Programmes and advanced training courses which provide a space for discussion, cooperation and creative partnerships amongst researchers and students developing advanced research on the relations between science, economy and society.

The ongoing research projects demonstrate the timeliness and relevance of the developed topics: knowledge, art, citizen science, participation, active citizenship, forensic genetics, social control, vigilance, health, democracy, human rights, financialization, environment, risk, sustainable development, crisis, science and law, among others.
