The Arts and Care in Mental Health Series is organized by the Social Policies, Labour and Inequalities Research Group (POSTRADE) and aims to be a monthly forum for discussion on the field of mental health.

Acknowledging Mental health today requires observing the articulation of professional and lay responses to psychological distress with the political, cultural and economic logics of the last decades, as well as the analysis of the global instantiation logic in specific social contexts.

The Arts and Care in Mental Health Series aims to be a forum for discussion, with various organizational forms, throughout the year, in order to gather experiences and knowledge from different fields of sciences, arts and the general public. Therefore, the intention is to open discussions that contribute to the creation of new research programmes in the humanities and social sciences and new political agendas.
