Overview
This article is based on the observation that the COVID-19 pandemic does not affect everyone in the same way, showing that populations historically victims of discrimination and stigma, such as people with disabilities, are more vulnerable to crisis situations.
It reflects how this group is exposed to increased risks and at the same time subject to discrimination in access to credible and adequate information, and to the social support provided in times of exception such as the current one by the States.
