Synopses

When going to sea, the surf is the critical moment where the boat crosses the ripple line towards the open sea. Here, faith is stronger in the farewell to land but not everyone returns to pull the nets from the sea. The veil darkens and tears blend with the salt of the water. "Pouca Sorte" is the fisherman who goes to sea and brings the empty net, and it is also the name of the vessel of the Xávega Art company of Praia da Tocha. A small fishing community that despite the modernization and conversion into a seaside attraction, still preserves some intact traditions. This is its portrait.
