Synopsis

Following The Law of the Oppressed (2014) and A Justiça Popular em Cabo Verde (2015), As Bifurcações da Ordem – Revolução, Cidade, Campo e Indignação is the third volume of a series of five titles on critical sociology of law. Like the previous ones, this book is published without updating of data or of bibliography and without intervention in the analyses made at the time in which the texts were written.

But unlike the books that preceded it, it contains texts related to a period between 1979 and 2016 and is, therefore, a particularly revealing volume of Professor Boaventura de Sousa Santos' scientific trajectory in the area of critical sociology of law.
