About

In this session, we will review the process of the shaping of the indigenous movement in Nayarit (Mexico), giving an account of the main conflicts around which it has been activated during the recent decade, as well as the processes of hegemonic articulation that have made possible the gradual confluence of groups, communities and native peoples living in this region, and their connection with organised sectors of the mestizo population. In this sense, it is of particular interest to investigate the role played by the mobilisation-actualisation of the cosmovision as native peoples (cosmopolitics) in the dialogue of knowledges undertaken in this conflictive environment, as well as the main socio-political consequences of this process.

Registration is free but compulsory and limited according to the rules of the Directorate-General for Health and may therefore be subject to change.
