Through feminist talks, the gender workshop series showcases the work and initiatives of people from diverse fields in the context of gender issues. This session features Inês Marinho, a young activist who has made a name for herself in the field of protecting women in the digital environment through the organisation ‘Nâo Partilhes’.

The conversation takes place as an open lecture on ‘Introduction to Cultural Studies’ at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Coimbra.

Bio note

Inês Marinho | A young activist advocating for the rights of women, girls and survivors of image-based sexual violence. She founded a project to support survivors and raise awareness of online sexual violence. Her work focuses on promoting greater protection for everyone in the digital environment, holding platforms that allow the dissemination of illegal content to account, and raising public awareness of the reality experienced by survivors of these crimes. She is studying Political Science and International Relations. She actively participates in talks, conferences and demonstrations at national and international level.
