Journal Expert Review of Anticancer Therapy

Overview

During the confinement phase decreed as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many were the news that pointed to the increased fragility of oncologic patients and the need for an evaluation of the benefits and risks of continued treatment in hospital spaces, taking into account the weakness of the immune system of these individuals in the face of a possible infection by the new coronavirus. The text goes out of the hands of those in the "front lines", sharing with colleagues and the community the concerns and practical findings of medical personnel.
