Everyday same-sex intimate partner violence victims face the dilemma of whether or not to seek help due to the fear or being further discriminated on the basis of their sexual orientation. Informed by victim's lived experiences with the national support network for domestic violence victims, this research aims to explore professionals' social representations of same-sex intimate partner violence.
