Roberta Scatolini


Biography

Graduated in Psychology from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1996 / São Paulo), Roberta Scatolini has a Master in Education (Psychology of Education) from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo -SP / PUC-SP), with the dissertation A study of Corporeity with Educators: an experience with the Theater of the Oppressed (2012) and technical background as actress in the Célia Helena Theater-School (São Paulo). She worked as Pedagogical Coordinator in projects in the areas of Education, Culture, Art and Human Rights at Instituto Paulo Freire (São Paulo) from 2006 to 2015. As Educator, she's been involved in several social projects at the Community Works Center at PUC-SP from 1997 to 2006. During the years from 2002 to 2005 she's worked as Supervisor of Teaching and Research at the Urban Security Training Center of the City of São Paulo. Also, she's been working as a Curator in the fields of Theater and Literature at the Social Service of São Paulo (SESC-SP). Nowadays she is studying doctorate in Women's Studies at Ces, University of Coimbra. Main themes of interests: popular education, culture, corporeity, art / education, theater of the oppressed and human rights.
