Approaches to peace and the (re)production of violence in Mozambique

REPLAY LECTURE SERIES

War, forced displacements and crisis response in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique

Teresa Cunha (CES)

November 27, 2023, 13h00

Room 3.1, Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra

Since early October 2017, an armed conflict has overshadowed the lives of people in Cabo Delgado province, Mozambique. Women keep being talked about, but they seldom talk in the press and in the research carried out and made public. This lecture focuses on a reverse approach in which they not only speak but are attentively listened to.

Activity within the scope of the project «REPLAY - Approaches to peace and the (re)production of violence in Mozambique», funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia I.P. (EXPL/CPO-CPO/1615/2021) in collaboration with the PhD Program «International Politics and Conflict Resolution» (FEUC/CES).
