Seminar | Europe in Crisis - Perspectives from the Global South
The crisis of democratic pedagogy
Elísio Macamo (Universidade de Basileia)
January 21, 2026, 15h00 (GMT)
Online event
The event seeks to mobilise research forces from the research group Europe and the Global South: heritages and dialogues, namely Europe’s relationship with the Global South, at a moment that appears historic due to the militarisation of the EU, thereby inviting a reimagining of Europe. The event stands out for mobilising non-Eurocentric critical perspectives from scholars from the Global South.
