Symposium
Weaving Feminist Networks and Resistances
January 26, 2026, 9h00 - 18h00
Casa da Esquina (Coimbra)
The Weaving Feminist Networks and Resistance conference aims to be a space for reflection, sharing and intersectional and collective knowledge building, in which education, gender, sexual diversity, and solidarity economy are intertwined as threads of resistance and creation of new imaginaries that transform the world we live in.
During this conference, we aim to problematise the structural inequalities that permeate the world of education, work and economic organisation in the construction of diverse sexual identities, focusing on the knowledge, experiences and practices of people who identify as women.
The conference will feature short lectures and roundtable discussions that value dialogue between academia, social movements and territories, fostering the construction of collaborative and inclusive networks.
By promoting pluralistic listening and the recognition of diversity, this meeting seeks to strengthen the ethical and political commitment to social transformation, inviting collective action and the creation of new ways of existing, resisting and knowing.
