David Theo Goldberg is Director of the Humanities Research Institute of University of California. He is one of the most important voices in the debates about Critical Race Theory, Digital Humanities, and also about the role of the humanities in contemporary societies. He has authored numerous books, including Racist Culture: Philosophy and the Politics of Meaning (1993), Racial Subjects: Writing on Race in America (1997), The Racial State (2002), and The Future of Thinking: Learning Institutions in a Digital Age (2009).
