Iolanda Vasile


Biography

Iolanda Vasile is a PhD candidate and a Junior Researcher at the Centre for Social Studies, University of Coimbra, Portugal. She is also a Portuguese Language Lecturer for Camões Insitute at West University in Timisoara, Romania. She holds a BA in Foreign Languages (Japanese and Portuguese) from the University of Bucharest, Romania. Her PhD research looks into the role played by the Angolan women during the outburst of the liberation movements in Angola (1945 - 1961).
