Moara Assis Crivelente


Moara Crivelente is a PhD candidate in the program "International Politics and Conflict Resolution", in which she enrolled in 2015. She obtained a master's degree in 2012 in "Communication of International Armed and Social Conflicts" from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (with a dissertation focused on critical discourse analysis and the Israeli media) and a bachelor's degree, in 2010, in International Relations, from the University of Coimbra. She is the Director of Communication of the Brazilian Center for Solidarity with the Peoples and Struggle for Peace (Cebrapaz) and advises the Presidency of the World Peace Council. She is also a freelancer journalist and maintains a weekly column on Portal Vermelho. Research interests: Third World Approaches to International Law, Critical Legal Studies, Historical Materialism, philosophy of praxis, Critical Discourse Analysis, Peace Studies, resistances, anti-imperialism, anti-colonialism, Palestine and Western Sahara.
