Marcos Silva


Biography

PhD in Social Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Postdoctorate at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra, Portugal (725402-Politics-ERC-2016-COG- 2017-2023). Member of the project "The presence of women in legal education in Brazil from the perspective of gender and race (2001-2021)", coordinated by Ela Wiecko Volkmer de Castilho, University of Brasilia/CNPq. Its area of interest is the theme of ethnic-racial relations (race, racism and anti-racism, curricula, black youth) in the field of social and human sciences and health. It has a master's degree in Educational Psychology and undergraduate and psychology. Has been working as a collaborating teacher in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Latin American universities: Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Lima/Peru); Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP/SP/Brazil). And with participation in extension activities: CES goes to school (University of Coimbra/Portugal); UFPB in facing the new coronavirus pandemic, Neabi/UFPB - Afroscientists: Auto (Care) to health and the construction of citizenship at the Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil. Acts in the following research groups: Social Pedagogy (Mackenzie Presbyterian University, São Paulo, Brazil); The formation of the subject in the digital age (Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, UNESP, Araraquara, Brazil); Film and Education Study Group, Federal University of Goiás, Jataí, Brazil).
