Tiago Vinagre Castro


Graduated in Tourism Management and Planning, Master in Urban and Regional Planning, by the University of Aveiro and with a specialization in Management and Production of Shows by the University Lusófona of Porto. He was an active member and associative leader of the Experimental Theater Group of the University of Aveiro (GrETUA) between 2002 and 2008 and between 2012 and 2013. In the last 10 years, he has worked mainly in the cultural sector as a producer, manager, trainer, creator and actor in cultural and artistic projects at national and international level. Since 2012, he has combined the roles as cultural manager and urban planner at 4iS - Platform for Social Innovation (NGO which he co-founded) where he develops urban transformation projects through culture and participation as well as projects that combine heritage, arts and community development. He collaborates as a mentor in the Tandem Ukraine program promoted by MitOst a.V and the European Culture Foundation (ECF) and is an active member of the European networks CitizensLab and Tandem. Currently, he is a Junior Researcher under the project CREATOUR - Creative Tourism Destination Development in Small Cities and Rural Areas
