2019 - 4th and 11 April 2019- Co-Facilitation, with Leo Caves, of a workshop, divided in two sessions (2 x 3h) titled "Complex Thinking Academy", targeting the general public, organised of the Cultural Association Cultura Curto Espaço in Aguda, Arcozelo, Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.

2018 - Extension and Scientific Dissemination Activities with Non-Academic Practitioners: Facilitation of the Collaboration Plans "Alliances Research and Practice" targeting teams of practitioners conducting family assessment and interventions in community contexts, namely from Centres of Family Support and Parental Counselling of different municipalities in Portugal (e.g. Murtosa, St. Maria da Feira, Albergaria-a-Velha, Marinha Grande). In the context of these plans, the practitioners collaborate in different research activities focusing teams of family assessment and intervention and, according to their levels of engagement, participate in different training and supervision formats facilitated by the researcher, aiming at promoting advanced knowledge and skills for their professional practices in real world contexts.

2018 - Extension/dissemination activity. Co-facilitation, with Leo Caves, of a workshop (3h) for the general population under the title "Thinking: Destination Unknown", for the general public, in the York Festival of Ideas 2018, York, United Kingdom. The workshop aimed to disseminate knowledge and introduce the general audiente to the notion of Complex Thinking, promoting positive practices, in the general population

2018 - Member of the Working Group Children and Youth for the implementation of the Social Development Plan of the Social Network of Coimbra, in representation of the Centre for Social Studies

2017 - 14 September- Co-organisation and co-facilitation with Dr. Leo Caves of a world café event, titled "Appreciating YCCSA" as part of the York Centre for Complex Systems Analysis Away Day, aimed at supporting the evaluation and re-definition of YCCSA's strategy, mission, goals, objectives and action plans, as a centre for interdisciplinary research.

2016 - Participation in working group- Participation in an interdisciplinary working group session aimed at the collaborative development of a Book focused on the Teaching of Complexity, with the tentative titles of "Dialogues in Teaching Complexity Science" or "Conversations in Complex Systems". This group was created by invitations addressed by the organizers of the ESRC Seminar Series: Complexity and Method in Social Sciences: An Interdisciplinary Approach", held at the University of Warwick, by Emma Uprichard, Associate Professor of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies of the University of Warwick, UK; Brian Castellani, Professor, University of Kent, USA and David Byrne, University of Durham, UK. [project suspended]

2015-2017 - Case supervision and ongoing training of interdisciplinary teams from Centres of Family Support and Parental Council, for the implementation of the Integrated Family Assessment and Intervention Model, under the scope of a theoretical framework of the family as a complex systems, and for development of competencies for complex case conceptualisation in the assessment and promotion of the family's potential for change. (Bimonthly full day meetings and online support to 5 teams of different municipalities in Portugal)
