About

The general objective of the seminar is to promote academic reflection and discussion relating to risk management and reduction of socila vulnerability as a strategy of resilience building and consequent reduction f social inequity.

The presentations and disussion will focus on:

  • Social inclusion and resilience building in disaster risk reduction 
  • How equity reduces disaster risk
  • Multidisciplinary and innovative experiences in the approach to vulnerability to disasters and resilince building 
  • Lessons learned in strategies of reduction of vulnerability to disasters and resilience building
