Co-creating NbS in the context of informal settlements:joint lessons with a case in the Global South
NN Labs aim to understand the NbS co-creation in context of informal settlements in Brazil to co-produce new lessons learnt on climate change, justice and human-nature through a Participatory Action Research (PAR).
The NBS co-creation improves the (un)learning on informality and urban planning at NN level. The outcomes supports North-South dialogue and future policies oriented to this typology of urban areas.
Expanding evidence-based knowledge on informal urban areas and NBS, NN Labs will impact on the interventions in urban changing context at EU level. The empirical impact on the opportunities for local co-governance will raise awareness among residents about reconnecting with nature under the NBS principles.
